#LincsTech Week is focused on celebrating all things Tech across the County for an entire week.

We continue to work with Stonebow Media as they are responsible for co-ordinating some of the best events for the digital and tech scene in Lincoln. Having sponsored both of their previous Lincolnshire Business Expo’s and both our CEO, Richard & Head of Operations, Jodie, have lead workshop sessions previously. We wanted to do something a little bit different this time and decided to collaborate for #LincsTech Week.

This comes in the form of an entire Digital Marketing Morning from the team here at #TheLab, including a complimentary Breakfast. The morning is then made up of three different sessions from our in-house experts.

We regularly run digital marketing training days at our office, however, these normally incur a small charge, this is the first time we are taking our sessions out of the office and to you free of charge. Not only free of charge, we are also throwing in a free breakfast as well. #TechWeek Talk

The days starts at 8:30 with a complimentary breakfast where you can come along and have a chat about what the sessions entail and any questions that you may have about #LincsTech Week or in fact anything digital marketing related, the entire team will be on hand to help. We will be providing hot drinks as well as an assortment of pastries as we all know that nothing sets you up for a day better than a cuppa and baked goods. The first session will begin at 9:30-10 with Hayley Pearson looking at the question on everyone’s lips, “How To Get More Traffic?”

Hayley will kick off the Marketing Morning with inside insight into how to gain more traffic. Quality traffic that converts is the holy grail for us as digital marketers, therefore it is essential to understand which channels drive the right visitors to your website. The second session of the morning is at 10:30-11 with Jodie King to understand  “How Can I Improve My Website?”

You may recognise Jodie’s name from a well-received talk on Content Marketing that she did at Lincolnshire Business Expo in 2016. Jodie is Head of Operations at SEO Traffic Lab, which means she lives and breathes our campaigns from web dev to SEO and all in between. Her experience in marketing allows her to add a creative flair to client campaigns and having graduated with a Masters in English she has an exceptional way with words.

Jodie wants to share with you the answer to one of the most commonly asked questions we get in #TheLab. Online success hinges on your ability to persuade your customers to take a series of small steps, from initial discovery through to conversion and repeat custom. Understanding how to help your customers make these small steps is fundamental to good marketing decisions. In this talk, he will look into depth at the different marketing methods that can be available to businesses just like yours to encourage more leads or sales by understanding how your visitors behave.
