Lincolnshire YMCA undertook a miniature technical, digital marketing audit, which illustrated some areas in which the Non-Profit could improve its marketing approaches. Following the audit we helped Lincs YMCA apply for the Google Ad Grant.

The main marketing goal for YMCA was to raise the awareness of their cost-effective fitness qualification courses. The Google Ad Grant scheme offers unprecedented opportunities for registered non-profit organisations. Allowing them to market their business in a way that was previously only available to larger businesses. Following the audit and acceptance to Ad Grants, creating a paid campaign was the priority to first grow awareness of the fitness qualifications. 

Mini Technical Audit

As we were tasked with looking at a specific element to Lincolnshire YMCA, we conducted a miniature audit on the education side of the business. This allowed us to delve into the strategies they had used prior to raising their profile. Before opening the valve on $10,000 a month of in-kind Ad Spend we wanted to make sure their website would deal with the traffic and more importantly convert that traffic.

Ad Grant Success

Prior to implementing and allowing us to manage their Google Ad Grants,  Lincolnshire YMCA was struggling to fill classes for its fitness qualifications. Since November, they received around 140 enquiries through their digital campaign. This has resulted in £22,000 in extra income for the charity since January, from a spend of £4,000. Since they began advertising through Google Ad Grants in November, Lincolnshire YMCA has seen a continued increase in brand awareness and its Ad Campaign accounts for 41% of all traffic to its website. Ultimately, this means almost half of its normal visitors arrive uniquely from using Google Ad Grants.
